A Love Letter to my 1st Born

Dear Andrew,

Happy 8th Birthday Drewbear. The past year you have grown in so many ways. Not only are you more than 2 inches taller, but you have become so much more responsible. Without us asking; you replace the trash bag, clean up dog poo (and never complain!), vacuum, and so much more.
I love how you love to make people laugh. Your biggest fan is your little sister. She adores you and no one can make her laugh like you do. Like yesterday she said that her belly hurt because you made her laugh so hard. I also love how you stick strong to our family's rules and respect your home and others around you. You sometimes remind me of little things as well. To thank God before we eat, to say thank you when daddy compliments me, and to take a deep breath if I am stressed out. For an 8 year old, you are so mature. But I also love that you still hug me in front of your friends, and you are so proud when I come around. I pray that you never outgrow me.
You are my handsome little man. You are so very handsome. Your eyes speak to me, and those missing two front teeth melt my heart when you smile. I know next year you won't say "whisper" the way you do now. HaHa!

I hope you have a fabulous day my son. You deserve it!

Love Forever and Always,

Mommy

P.S. Remember your 6th and 7th Birthdays?
