Going Back in Time

I was speaking with some friends the other day about how we have changed since high school.
Obviously my hair has changed. That is a given. I KNOW my body has changed (18 years and two kids can do that to a girl), although my self confidence is better than it was back then. I know who I am, I know what I want, and I am comfortable in my own skin. I finally understand why my parents were so strict, and why certain teachers (Coach Adams was a constant) encouraged me to be the best person I could be. I now see so much potential in my children, not just academically either. I see them care and love others at such a young age. I see forgiving hearts (something everyone needs). I see creative and talented children. I see leaders that are looked up to. I pray that they will have some of the leadership that I did.

I also hope that they have better hair than I did. Haha.

A look back:

1991

Now

Age 8(ish)

Age 12 (posing for a play I was in)

Age 14-Posing for another play
My my...Bad all the way around. I was about 16 or 17?

Let me just say that I LOVE being almost 36 years old. As much as I LOVED my school days (really I did), I am so thrilled to be past that.
